Located 2.1 miles from Dunedin Highland Middle School, the Stirling Skate Park is the perfect place to hang out after school. The park is a 10,000 square foot concrete flow course designed by Team Pain. Built in 2007, the park features two bowls and a street plaza, snake zone, step up, rail, hubbas and a banked hubba. Check out the weekly programs including Membership Appreciation Day, Old School SK8 Night, Teen Night Skate, Concrete Challenge, and Trick of the Month. Skateboarding provides flexibility, increases coordination and builds cardiovascular stamina. This activity gives your quadriceps and calves plenty of work. Not to mention, there are stabilizer muscles within your body that only skateboarding develops. You will literally work out muscles you didn't even know you had!
