Walk, jog, or bike the Crystal Beach portion of the Pinellas Trail3614 De Soto Boulevard, Palm Harbor , FL 34683
Wall Springs Park is located just off the first part of the trail. Stop by the 35-foot observation tower for a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Mexico. If you're bringing the kids along, there's a playground in the park for even more fun. If you do this whole section, from the access point at US 19 just past Harry St. to Missouri Ave., you'll travel a little over 2 miles. The entire Pinellas Trail stretches 34 miles from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. Most of the Pinellas Trail was once a railroad corridor. Today, the mostly-paved trail is a protected place for walking, jogging, rollerskating, rollerblading or biking. Go for 34 yards or all 34 miles, with kids or without. Either way, you'll get a new, more relaxed glimpse of the area. And every step, skate or pedal push will be active fun that keeps you feeling good.
